Between amazement, utility, paradox and even fear and destruction, the Sci Fi genre imagined all. To the degree that we developed the illusion of a "native" (in fact very socially educated) way of quickly defining and reacting to it at least at a superficial, mainly conversational, level. Until you meet it.
And yes, this intro image is a mix of generative AI content. Though you simply didn't know that; without interaction - hardly a Turing test.
"CE" logo will soon signal the wrong message

Started with good intentions as most initiatives in EU are, but lacking perspective, future proofing and due diligence as to what exactly the effects might be, the proposal here https://digital-strategy.ec.europa.eu/en/library/cyber-resilience-act will become more likely a factor that will cripple and hinder Open Source software development in EU. And worldwide as a consequence.

The EU Radio Equipment Directive: Radios to run pre-approved software

This is not about the HAM enthusiasts as sometimes it has been presented, but it goes into the Wi-Fi, bluetooth, home automation and GPS realm for example being dubbed as "all devices which can send and receive radio signals".
The Radio Equipment Directive (2014/53/EU) passed in 2014 has opened up new problems for radio users. According to it, the radio manufacturers are obligated to approve the software ran for the radios.
Another win for Open Source: no Office365 in France

In a circular by the State addressed to the secretaries general of ministries, Nadi Bou Hanna, Interministerial Director of Digital, considered that Microsoft Office 365 does not comply with “cloud at the center” policy of the state.
